Auto repair, done properly
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Heritage Trades Guild
- 1986 to 2001
- English, Swahili
I've worked in auto repair from 1986 to 2001. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 810 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 17 years later for another job.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Githinji
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Githinji: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
