Githinji David Mrema

14 years teaching accounting in Mukono

  • 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
  • Beacon Boys' School
  • Since 1981
  • English, Spanish
I teach accounting at Beacon Boys' School in Mukono since 1981. Most days I teach Year 10, and I learn every name in the first week. I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Githinji

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

you taught me accounting in 1992 at Beacon Boys' School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
