Gita Ayu Hutapea
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Since 2011
- English, Indonesian
I'm a bicycle repair specialist. If you live around Jakarta, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 16 years later for another job.
More about Gita
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Gita: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
