Gita Anjali Chhetri
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇵 Biratnagar, Koshi, Nepal
- Little Lakeview Trades Guild
- 1983 to 1999
- English, Nepali
I've worked in blacksmithing from 1983 to 1999. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 290 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Gita: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
