I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
