Girma Kidus Demissie
Athletics coach, St. Mary's Youth Club
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Since 1999
- English
For 27 years I've run the athletics program at St. Mary's Youth Club in Jimma. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
What gifts mean to Girma: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
