Girma Hailemariam

Environmental science and statistics teacher, Jimma

🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
Mount Pleasant Grammar School
Since 1992
English

I teach environmental science at Mount Pleasant Grammar School in Jimma since 1992. Most days I teach Grade 11, and my door is open at lunch. I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Girma

If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.

What gifts mean to Girma: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
