Girma Girma Demissie

Embroidery and textiles artist

🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Maple Ridge Pottery
2001 to 2015
English, Amharic, Spanish

I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 2001 at Maple Ridge Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.

More about Girma

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
