My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 1989 in Brandon and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Gilles
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Gilles: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
