Gilbert W. Perez

Professor of modern history, Bacolod University

  • 🇵🇭 Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines
  • Bacolod University
  • Since 1989
  • English
I've spent 37 years as a lecturer in modern history at Bacolod University in Bacolod. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

More about Gilbert

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.

What gifts mean to Gilbert: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
