I taught early years at Northside High School in Austin from 2006 to 2019. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I learned every name in the first week.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
