Gilbert K. Uy
Textiles and woodcarving artist
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Old Maple Ridge Gallery
- Since 1984
- English, Filipino
I work mostly in textiles, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1984 at Old Maple Ridge Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Gilbert
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Gilbert: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
