Gilbert H. Torres
38 years teaching biology in Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Bamboo Academy
- Since 1987
- English
For 39 years I have been the biology teacher at Bamboo Academy. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 2,110 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Gilbert
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Gilbert: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
