Gilbert Castro
Finance mentor, Quezon City
- 🇵🇭 Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Holy Cross Youth Network
- 1985 to 2005
- English, Filipino
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 700 people through Holy Cross Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Gilbert: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
