Gihan Nuwan Perera

Social studies and agriculture teacher, Negombo

  • 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
  • Orchid Boys' School
  • 2013 to 2023
  • English, Sinhala
I taught social studies at Orchid Boys' School in Negombo from 2013 to 2023. Most days I taught primary school children, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

More about Gihan

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
