Giannis Giannis Oikonomou

Traditional drumming player and teacher in Athens

  • 🇬🇷 Athens, Attica, Greece
  • Athens Ensemble
  • Since 2012
  • English
I've played traditional drumming since 2012, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 13 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.

What gifts mean to Giannis: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
