I taught economics at Kingsway Grammar School in Sacramento from 1998 to 2016. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
