I've been a nurse for 23 years, most of them in neonatal care at St. Mary's Maternity Hospital in Heliopolis. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
