Getachew Tewodros Gebremariam
Guitar player and teacher in Gondar
- 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Gondar Band
- 1978 to 2005
- English, Amharic
I'm a musician from Gondar. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Getachew
I wrote my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Getachew: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
