Getachew Henok Wolde
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Since 1987
- English
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1987 at Hillcrest Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
