I taught religious studies at Johannesburg Grammar School in Johannesburg from 2005 to 2022. Most days I taught first-year students, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Gerhard
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
