I taught chemistry at Bamboo High School in Soweto from 1981 to 2006. Most days I taught first-year students, and I played music while people worked.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

What gifts mean to Gerhard: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
