Gerhard L. Steyn

Coached cricket for 43 years in Pretoria

  • 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Liberty Football Club
  • Since 1983
  • English
I've coached cricket at Liberty Football Club since 1983. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Gerhard

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
