I taught history at Paarl Girls' School in Paarl from 2011 to 2020. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
