Gerardo Vargas

First-generation students mentor, Austin

  • 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
  • Since 1987
  • English, Spanish
For 39 years I've mentored people in first-generation students and design. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening. I write a short note to every student at the end of term. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
