Gerardo J. Macías
36 years teaching geography in San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- Redwood Middle School
- 2001 to 2016
- English, Spanish
I taught geography at Redwood Middle School in San Francisco from 2001 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 570 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Gerardo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
