For eight years I ran the softball program at Los Angeles Windsor Youth Club in Los Angeles. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Gerardo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
