Gerardo A. Pérez
Mentor in writing and first-generation students
- 🇺🇸 Aurora, Illinois, United States
- Aurora Youth Network
- Since 1990
- English
For 36 years I've mentored people in writing and first-generation students. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Gerardo: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
