I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Gerard
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Gerard: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
