I taught biology at Nashville Public School in Nashville from 1999 to 2019. Most days I taught Year 10, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Gerald
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Gerald: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
