I've spent 38 years as a lecturer in modern history at Turin University in Turin. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Gennaro
If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Gennaro: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
