Gennaro Monti
31 years in neonatal care nursing
- 🇮🇹 Naples, Campania, Italy
- Parkside Community Hospital
- Since 1989
- English, Italian
I've been a nurse for 37 years, most of them in neonatal care at Parkside Community Hospital in Naples. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Gennaro: I'd put gifts toward a training course in palliative care.
