Gennaro Antonio Cattaneo
Thatching, done properly
- 🇮🇹 Padua, Veneto, Italy
- Old Padua Trades Guild
- 1989 to 2023
- English, Italian
I've worked in thatching from 1989 to 2023. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,360 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Gennaro
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
