Genet Yilma
Musician with Rosewood Band
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Rosewood Band
- 1992 to 2001
- English
I play choir direction and bass. I started in 1992 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Genet
I wrote my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Genet: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
