Genesis May
Retired English literature teacher from Frangipani Primary School
- 🇺🇸 Cincinnati, Ohio, United States
- Frangipani Primary School
- 1988 to 2023
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Genesis
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me English literature in 2010 at Frangipani Primary School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 2021. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Addis Ababa.
