Genesis Bates
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇦🇺 Townsville, Queensland, Australia
- Townsville Shop
- 2002 to 2014
- English
I've worked in welding from 2002 to 2014. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 540 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Genesis: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
