Carpentry, done properly
- 🇮🇳 Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
- Little Meadowbank Workshop
- 1991 to 2003
- English, Tamil
I've worked in carpentry from 1991 to 2003. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 530 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 21 years later for another job.
More about Gayathri
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Gayathri: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
