Gayathri J. Narayanan
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Pune Workshop
- Since 2001
- English, Malayalam
I've worked in masonry since 2001. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 730 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
More about Gayathri
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Gayathri: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
