Gayathri B. Kamath
Self-taught printmaking artist
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Art Collective
- Since 2001
- English
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 2001 at Mumbai Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Mumbai Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
More about Gayathri
I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Gayathri: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
