Gayathri A. Krishnamurthy
Illustration and calligraphy artist
- 🇮🇳 Kochi, Kerala, India
- Kochi Art Collective
- 1990 to 2002
- English, Malayalam
I work mostly in illustration, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1990 at Kochi Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Gayathri
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Gayathri: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
