Gashaw Amanuel Worku

19 years teaching computer science in Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Crown Girls' School
  • 2011 to 2025
  • English
I taught computer science and English literature at Crown Girls' School, Addis Ababa. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. Over the years I had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Gashaw

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Gashaw: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
