Gareth R. Naicker

Youth basketball coach and mentor

  • 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Ashford Athletic Club
  • Since 2015
  • English, Spanish
I've coached basketball at Ashford Athletic Club since 2015. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

More about Gareth

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Gareth: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
