Gareth F. Pillay
Taught history at Johannesburg Academy
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Academy
- 2016 to 2025
- English, Afrikaans
For nine years I was the history teacher at Johannesburg Academy. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Gareth
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Gareth: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
