Garba Zubby Nwankwo
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Works
- Since 2011
- English, Hausa
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Lagos, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Garba
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Garba: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
