For 46 years I've run the boxing program at Eastgate Swimming Club in Awka. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Garba
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Garba: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
