Garba Gbenga Alabi

Painter, potter and teacher at Little Abuja Art Collective

🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
Little Abuja Art Collective
1999 to 2025
English, Hausa

I work mostly in textiles, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1999 at Little Abuja Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Little Abuja Art Collective, which keeps me honest. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Garba

I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
