Garba Festus Williams
Coached cricket for 29 years in Badagry
- 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
- Badagry Sports Club
- 1989 to 2018
- English
For 29 years I ran the cricket program at Badagry Sports Club in Badagry. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Garba
If you played for me, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
What gifts mean to Garba: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
