Garba Daniel Obi
Youth cross country coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Epe Community Club
- 2011 to 2023
- English, Yoruba
I coached cross country at Epe Community Club from 2011 to 2023. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Garba
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Garba: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
