I've been a nurse for 32 years, most of them in dialysis at Rosewood General Hospital in Kathmandu. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
