Ganesh Rao
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Hubballi, Karnataka, India
- 1984 to 2011
- English, French
I'm a upholstery specialist. If you live around Hubballi, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 17 years later for another job.
More about Ganesh
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ganesh: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
